Floyd Abrams
Floyd Abrams, a partner in the law firm of Cahill Gordon & Reindel and a graduate of Yale, was co-counsel for The New York Times in the Pentagon Papers case. He has argued many other cases before the Supreme Court, including Landmark Communications v. Virginia and Smith v. Daily Mail. Recently, he represented Al Franken in a trademark lawsuit brought by Fox News and the New York Times and Judith Miller in the CIA leak investigation case. He is the author of Speaking Freely (2005).

Judge Denny Chin
Judge Denny Chin is a United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York. He was born in Hong Kong, and is the first and still the only Asian-American appointed a United States District Judge outside the Ninth Circuit. A former Assistant United States Attorney, and partner at Vladeck, Waldman, Elias & Engelhard, he has written decisions in or presided over cases involving New York City’s denial of a parade permit to the Million Youth March, photographs in Penthouse purportedly of the tennis player Anna Kournikova sun-bathing topless on a public beach, and the trademark lawsuit by Fox News against Al Franken for using the phrase “Fair and Balanced” in the title of Franken’s book.

 

Catherine Crier
Catherine Crier is an Emmy, duPont-Columbia, and Gracie Allen Award-winning journalist and the youngest state judge to ever be elected in Texas. Crier joined Court TV in 1999, where she hosts “Catherine Crier Live,” a daily program that addresses the legal perspective of the day’s “front-page” story. Crier has written two books on the justice system, The Case Against Lawyers (2002) and Contempt: How the Right is Wronging American Justice (2005) and one true crime story A Deadly Game: The Untold Story of the Scott Peterson Investigation (2005).

 

Judge Andrew Napolitano
Judge Andrew Napolitano currently serves as a senior judicial analyst and co-host for the FOX News Channel. He was the youngest life-tenured Superior Court Judge in the history of the State of New Jersey. While on the bench from 1987–95, he tried over 150 jury trials, and sat in all parts of the Superior Court—Criminal, Civil, Equity and Family. Judge Napolitano is also the author of Constitutional Chaos, What Happens When the Government Breaks Its Own Laws (2004).


Covering The Big Case -- From O.J. Simpson to Michael Jackson

Dan Abrams
Dan Abrams is the NBC News Chief Legal Correspondent and host of MSNBC’s “The Abrams Report.”  A former Court TV reporter, Abrams has covered many big cases, including O.J. Simpson’s murder trial, President Clinton’s impeachment trial, the Bush v. Gore post-election battle, the Oklahoma City bombing trials, and the Scott Peterson trial.  He is currently covering the Michael Jackson trial.  A Columbia Law School graduate, Dan Abrams has published articles in The New York Times, USA Today Magazine, The American Lawyer, and the Yale Law and Policy Review.

Adrienne M. Wheeler
Adrienne M. Wheeler is Managing Editor at Inside Edition.  She joined Inside Edition from CBS's "The Early Show", where she had been a producer since 2000.  Ms. Wheeler was previously with NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw and the Today Show.  Prior to that, she was Executive Producer for Geraldo Rivera's talk show, and a producer for Phil Donahue.  She was also a producer for The Montel Williams Show, where she was nominated by the Television Arts & Sciences.  Currently, Adrienne is working on a documentary about Race in society today.

Adam Liptak
Adam Liptak is The New York Times's national legal correspondent. A graduate of Yale Law School, Mr. Liptak was Senior Counsel with the New York Times Company, and an Associate with Cahill Cordon & Reindel. Mr. Liptak was named one of 20 leading newspaper professionals under the age of 40 by Presstime magazine in 1995. He has written many articles for The Times on, among other subjects, criminal prosecutions of persons involved in alleged terrorist activity. Mr. Liptak has also contributed to The New York Times Magazine, The New York Times Book Review, The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, Business Week, and The New York Observer.

Mickey Sherman
Criminal defense attorney Mickey Sherman is the CBS News Legal Analyst.  Mr. Sherman is a frequent guest on Fox News Channel, Court TV, CNN, MSNBC, and CNBC. His innovative trial techniques have been featured in The New York Times, The American Lawyer, The National Law Journal, and other publications.             Mr. Sherman has represented many high profile defendants, including Michael Skakel in his trial for the murder of Martha Moxley.  Mr. Sherman garnered national media attention for successfully defending a Vietnam veteran for murder using the post-traumatic stress disorder syndrome.
