The purpose of the Gaelic Law Student Association shall be, but is not limited to:

  1. to instill a greater awareness among NYLS students of legal issues concerning the Irish community
  2. to foster a commitment to the needs and problems of the Irish Community
  3. to promote the Irish Culture
  4. to foster a greater sense of unity among NYLS students, GLDA members, and student organization members of other law schools
