(Note: This is not to be interpreted as a construction schedule, but is intended to give a rough suggestion of the timing of the Law School's new building project.)

Now through February, 2008 - Cellar levels are "mined", and concrete levels poured to create the four sub-grade levels of the new classroom/library structure.

September, 2007 - New York Law School's new campus bookstore opens its new storefront at 40 Worth Street. The campus bookstore, managed by Barnes & Noble, will also provide a new retail book resource for the Tribeca community and area tourists.

March, 2008 - Construction of interior spaces begins--elevators installed, etc. (At about this time, the building project construction will begin both upwards and downwards...concurrently.)

April, 2008 - Interior fit-out begins. Wall framing and HVAC ductwork begins.

May, 2008 - Exterior glass curtain wall is completed. Bathrooms are tiled.

June, 2008 - Flooring installation begins. Plumbing hardware installation begins. Interior door installation begins. Acoustic tile installation begins.

July, 2008 - Electrical hardware, temperature controls, and signage installation begins. Priming and painting of walls begins. Terrazzo flooring installation begins. Fifth-floor balcony railings are installed.

August, 2008 - Installation of ornamental glass walls begins. Lighting is installed. Millwork and electrical outlets are installed. Projection screens, carpet, and classroom seating is installed.

Fall, 2008 - Interior finishes are completed; power, HVAC, plumbing, and IT systems are completed and tested; building is readied for classes to begin in new classrooms not later than January, 2009.

Fall, 2008 / Winter, 2009 - Phase II (renovation and reconfiguration of Buildings A, B, and C) begins, with completion scheduled for Spring, 2010.
