Profile

Wolfgang Müller-Wittig is the Director of the Centre for Advanced Media Technology (CAMTech) since January 2001. CAMTech is a joint venture between the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics (Fraunhofer-IGD), Darmstadt (Germany), and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. Furthermore, he is an Associate Professor at the NTU School of Computer Engineering. Prior to joining CAMTech, he worked first as a scientist in the „Visualization & Virtual Reality“ Department at Fraunhofer-IGD, and then as the head of the „Visualization Group“. His research interest include highly interactive three-dimensional computer graphics for the manufacturing, engineering, edutainment, cultural heritage, and biomedical sciences. 

Education

• He received his university degree (Dipl.-Inform.) as well as his doctoral degree (Dr.-Ing.) in Computer Science from the Darmstadt University of Technology (Germany).
