Lloyd M. Johnson, Jr. Scholarship Program 2009
The Lloyd M. Johnson, Jr. ("LMJ") Scholarship Program is open to all students who have been acepted into law school to start int he fall for 2009. Only students enrolled ina full-time, day program with an anticipated graduation date of Spring 2012 are eligible to apply. The goal of the program is to promote academic excellence and diversity in law schools by awarding ten new accepted law students from disadvantaged backgrounds with scholarships to help defray their educational expenses.

Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund
(MALDEF)
MALDEF's law school scholarship program awards scholarships of up to $7,000 each year to deserving individuals entering their first, second or third year of law school. Students must be entolled in law school full time in the upcoming school year to qualify. Scholarships are awarded to students based upon three primary factors: demonstrated involvement in and commitment to serve the Latino community through the legal profession; academic and professional achievement and financial need.

Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund, Puerto Rican Bar
Association Scholarship
The Puerto Rican Bar Association selects recipients based on financial need and academic promise Applicants must be first or second year students in a JD program at an ABA approved law school. Third year evening students are also eligible.

The National Asian Pacific American Bar Association
(NAPABA)
The NAPABA Law Foundation Scholarship are awarded each fall to law students who demonstrate a commitment to serve or contribute to the Asian Pacific American community as future leaders.
