Pathways to Property: A Deeper Dive on Charities' Occupancy Choices
Live, Virtual Zoom Online Breakfast Program of The Rooftops Project and New York Law School’s Center for Real Estate Studies
Thursday, April 28, 2021 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time
We are very pleased to announce this upcoming breakfast-time program that you can join virtually, from wherever you are. As with all Rooftops programming, the session is free. Advance registration is required. If you have already registered, you are all set and we look forward to seeing you then!
Our spring program will bring together a panel of diverse professionals and not-for-profit representatives to explore one of the most central, recurrent occupancy questions for charities: whether and when to own, to lease, to host or share space, or to be or become virtual? The panel will address a series of representative not-for-profit programmatic and operational situations and share their reactions and perspectives, providing food for thought for every charity while demonstrating once again that “one size doesn’t fit all.
Moderator: James Hagy, Director, The Rooftops Project
Panelists: Heidi Blau (FXCollaborative); David Carlos (Savills); Ethan Kahn (The Bonadio Group); Alana Sliwinski (Sidewalk Labs); Andrew Lurie (Lendlease Americas); Allison Lane (Architect); David Lebenstein (Cushman & Wakefield); Ambar Margarida (Spacesmith LLP); Glenn Newman (Greenberg Traurig); Michael Phillipou (Venable LLP); Allan Suarez (All Renovation Construction LLC); Desiree Thomas (TruFund Financial Services); Richard Warshauer (Colliers International NYC LLC); and Paul Wolf (Denham Wolf Real Estate Services).
