Serve as a Mentor
Alumni Mentors are part of the Professional Network, and they may volunteer to serve as mentors only, or in addition to other ways they want to be involved.
As part of the mentoring relationship, mentors and mentees make a commitment to meet at least three times during the year. During such meetings, we encourage you to:
- Discuss and refine your mentee’s career goals
- Share information about your law practice
- Refer them to fellow alumni and other professional contacts
- Guide them as they enter the profession and learn more about the practice of law
By signing up, your information will be listed in our mentor database, and students will reach out to you directly. Register at the NYLS Professional Network page and select to be a Mentor.
Connect Online and on Social Media
Connect online with classmates and fellow alumni while staying abreast of the latest news, events and opportunities as NYLS:
Create you alumni profile, search the alumni database, and maintain your contact information online.
