In 2019, the Conviction Integrity Bureau of the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, in partnership with the NYLS Post-Conviction Innocence Clinic, was awarded a two-year federal grant to support joint efforts to identify and investigate wrongful conviction claims. Panelists will describe their collaboration, investigation strategy, brainstorming sessions, ethical challenges, and—key to it all—student participation.
