The NYLS student organizations Legal Association for Women (LAW) and the Student Bar Association (SBA) are organizing a networking reception with the New York Women Judges Association (NYWJA) representing a cross-section of practice areas. This one-hour program offers NYLS students the opportunity to engage in open conversation, ask questions about judicial careers and the court system, and begin building early professional connections in a welcoming, accessible setting. The program aims to demystify judicial internships and post-graduate clerkships and to illuminate practical pathways to the bench. It ensures equitable access to every judge.
