Who makes the important decisions in a corporation, how are the decisions made, and how are decision-makers held accountable? A firm’s corporate governance system answers these important questions and guides the basic functioning of its business and operations. 

Wendy Singletary ’08 is the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Risk & Control at Barclays U.S. Corporate Bank. She will give an overview of the unique corporate governance structure of financial institutions whose activities, with their potential exposure to credit, cyber, fraud, legal, and market risks, are the most highly-regulated of any industry.
