Event Details

Listed and over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives are critically important financial instruments that lawyers must understand. These derivatives are used by a wide range of parties––from Wall Street firms to hedge funds, investors, and beyond–– to make a trading profit and to protect against market and other related risks.

Professor Ronald H. Filler is one of the leading authorities in financial services law and has spent over the past 40 years in the derivatives industry. He will review the purposes and types of listed and OTC derivatives, how they are traded, and the regulatory framework that oversees them.
