Building a startup from the ground up takes a good idea, a talented team, and execution, along with support from advisors like outside counsel who can guide emerging companies through important milestones like fundraising and equity allocation. Advancements in technology and market pressures have created new opportunities for attorneys and their startup clients to work together in more efficient and transparent ways, leading to meaningful benefits for both parties.

Lynne Zagami ’06, Head of Customer Success at Shoobx, an equity management platform for startups, will share her journey from corporate practice to client service roles in emerging companies. She will also provide insights gleaned from representing early-stage companies on the ways in which successful attorney-client teams use technology to work together more effectively.
