(Lunch Lecture) Liability Management and Restructuring: Chapter 11 and Other Options

Companies facing financial pressure may have to restructure their operations, change management, cut spending, consolidate product lines, enter into exchange or other corporate transactions, and negotiate with creditors, among other actions. 

In his lecture, Matt Barr ’96, Co-Chair of the Restructuring Department at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, will give an overview of how a company and its board manage liability in times of distress.
