Dr. Saleem Badat will be presenting his paper, Thirteen Propositions on Teaching and Learning beyond the Covid-19 Pandemic and in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Dr. Badat is Research Professor in Humanities at the University of Kwazulu-Natal. Until recently, he was Program Director of the International Higher Education & Strategic Projects program at the Andrew W Mellon Foundation in New York. After a decade at the University of Western Cape, in 1999 Saleem became the first CEO of the Council on Higher Education. Between 2006 and 2014, he was Vice-Chancellor of Rhodes University.
