The first alumna to lead the Office of Academic Planning and Career Development, Dean Bond knows firsthand the critical importance of giving every student customized and comprehensive guidance on their academic and professional goals. Under her leadership, NYLS has achieved record high employment rates for the Classes of 2023 and 2024. The Academic Planning and Career Development team has varied legal experience and expertise to help you find the right opportunities to achieve your specific career goals.

Ilyse A. Wofse is an expert in bar preparation and bar success, having spent more than 25 years holding senior positions at several national bar preparation firms and helping thousands of law graduates pass their bar exams.

Senior Assistant Dean for Academic Success
Cherie N. McPherson brings a host of experience as an academic support educator who has taught legal education courses from pre-orientation stage to post-graduate bar preparation stage.
