In the first of three upcoming events on the origins, complexities, and possible solutions to New York’s longstanding housing crisis, experts will discuss “What’s the Trouble with Housing?” and examine the different types of housing in New York, the nuances of their physical and financial structures, and who lives in what types of housing. The conversation will explore the roles of various types of housing in the city and challenges facing the overall housing system and the people who rely on it.

This event is co-hosted by New York Law School’s Center for New York City and State Law and Center for Real Estate Studies, as well as Citizens Housing and Planning Council.
