(Impact Today) National Emergency or Manufactured Crisis?

March 20 @ 12:50 pm - 1:50 pm

Impact Today! is a lunchtime series hosted by the Impact Center for Public Interest Law. The series highlights how current events impact civil rights and civil liberties.

Join us for a hot topic discussion with Professors Lenni Benson and Claire R. Thomas ’11 on the ramifications of the National Emergency, the humanitarian crisis at the Southern border, and the ongoing impact of zero tolerance immigration policies on immigrant communities, migrants fleeing violence and poverty, and families separated at the border.

Pizza lunch will be served. This event is open to all NYLS students, faculty, and staff.
