(Impact Today) Restrictive Abortion Laws

November 7 @ 12:50 pm1:50 pm

Impact Today! is a speaker series hosted by the Impact Center for Public Interest Law. The series highlights how current events impact civil rights and civil liberties.

RESTRICTIVE ABORTION LAWS AND THE IMPACT ON WOMEN’S HEALTH

Alabama, Mississippi, and several other states have passed legislation outlawing abortion at aggressively early stages, stating their ambition to have the United States Supreme Court reverse Roe v. Wade. Attorneys from the American Civil Liberties Union’s Women’s Rights Project will join us to discuss the criminal and health ramifications for women in these states.

Pizza will be served. This event is open to all NYLS students, faculty, and staff.
