Impact Today! is a lunchtime series hosted by the Impact Center for Public Interest Law. The series highlights how current events impact civil rights and civil liberties.
For 20 years, the Center for Reproductive Rights has used the law to advance reproductive freedom as a fundamental human right that all governments are legally obligated to protect. Members of the Center’s Judicial Strategy team, Laura Portuondo and Amy Myrick, will join us to discuss the future of Roe v. Wade and reproductive rights in the United States.
Lunch will be served. This event is open to all students, faculty, and staff. Co-presented by the NYLS Legal Association for Women.
