(Lunch Lecture) Big Law Versus The Big Four

March 20 @ 12:45 pm - 1:45 pm

The Big Four accounting firms in the U.S. cannot practice law, yet they recruit and employ thousands of lawyers who provide advice on tax and estate planning, and also regulatory compliance, among other areas. Michael Kliegman will discuss the work of lawyers in accounting firms, some rules overseeing them, and whether these firms compete with law firms.

Michael Kliegman, Senior Counsel, Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers for more than two decades, and also worked as an attorney in the national office of the Internal Revenue Service.

Lunch provided for free.
