(Lunch Lecture) The Role of Lawyers in Capital Markets

To expand their growth and operations, companies frequently raise capital by issuing stocks, selling bonds, or by turning to private markets. Nathan Ajiashvili ’05 will describe the key role played by lawyers as they guide companies through complex regulatory matters overseeing the capital markets.

Nathan Ajiashvili ’05, a partner at Latham & Watkins LLP, represents both financial institutions and issuers engaging in equity and debt capital markets transactions in a broad array of industries. He is included as a recommended lawyer for Capital Markets (Equity Offerings) in The Legal 500 list, and he has appeared on the New York Super Lawyers list since 2013.
