Special Topics in Trial Advocacy
The focus of the course alternates every year among the following topics: Advanced Cross-Examination and Story-Telling for Lawyers. This course is a learning-by-doing course. Students complete assigned readings in advance of the course. During the course, faculty demonstrate techniques and lead the students in drills designed to develop skills before having the students do a series of simulation exercises. Simulations are video-taped and reviewed with faculty. This intensive course is offered over the course of an evening and weekend.
