NYLS Housing: St. George Residence Hall
NYLS’s student housing is in the St. George Residence Hall at 100 Henry Street. The St. George is in Brooklyn Heights, a historic residential neighborhood approximately 15 minutes from campus.
There are two room options: small singles for approximately $1,777 per month and large singles for approximately $2,436 per month. The leasing term is August 3, 2020–July 15, 2021 for entering students.
Returning students have the option to renew. Electricity, cable, internet, and local telephone calls are included in the rent. Each room has a private bathroom, flat-screen television, refrigerator, microwave, twin bed with storage space, desk and chair, and air conditioner. The building has security on-site and offers a communal kitchen, dining area, and lounge and study areas. Each resident is given membership to a nearby fitness facility.
Find the Residence Hall application on the Admitted Students page.
NYLS students can also seek out their own living accommodations. We recommend starting the apartment search early. The majority of landlords and apartment managers list vacancies four to six weeks before a move-in date. More tips and resources to assist students in the apartment search are available in the NYLS Housing Guide, accessible through the Admitted Students page. Students are responsible to pay any fees (if applicable) when using realtors and management companies.
