The team also competes in inter-school competitions. Past inter-school competitions include the American Association for Justice Student Trial Advocacy Competition, National Black Law Students Association Constance Baker Motley Mock Trial Competition, Judge Paul Joseph Kelly Jr. Invitational Trial Competition, Queens County District Attorney’s Mock Trial Competition, and Texas Young Lawyers Association National Trial Competition. 

Membership is by invitation only, and it is based on notable performance in the New York Law School Intramural Trial or Closing Argument Competition or by recommendation of a Trial Advocacy professor based on outstanding performance in the Trial Advocacy or Intensive Trial and Advocacy Skills course. Membership is open to 2Ls, 3Ls, and 4Ls.
