Giving to NYLS

Every gift creates opportunities for the next generation of leaders.

Your support allows New York Law School to provide students with an innovative legal education, delivered by a world-class faculty, in the greatest city in the world. From vital scholarships, academic programs, legal clinics and externships, co-curricular programs, and more—NYLS students gain the real-world legal experience fundamental to leaders in law, business, and public service.

This is possible thanks to your investment in our students. Thank you for partnering with us to have a career-changing and life-changing impact. We are proud to recognize donors in our Honor Roll of Donors.

For questions or to discuss your giving to NYLS, contact the Office of Institutional Advancement at 212.431.2800 or alumni@nyls.edu.

Ways to Give

Planned Gifts

With a planned gift, you can make a significant and long-lasting impact on the next generation of NYLS graduates and leaders for years to come. You can make a planned gift via your Will or Living Trust, retirement account or life insurance policy, or a more sophisticated estate planning vehicle.

When you support NYLS through a planned gift, you are invited to join our legacy giving society: the 1891 Society. As a member of our 1891 Society you will:

  • be featured in our annual Honor Roll of Donors.
  • receive annual updates from Dean Crowell.
  • receive special event invitations.

Tell Us About Your Planned Gift!

If NYLS is already in your estate plan or you’re interested in learning more about supporting NYLS with a planned gift, please contact Director of Development Elizabeth Briand ’11 at 212.431.2808 or elizabeth.briand@nyls.edu. Informing NYLS of your planned gift enables us to celebrate you now and entitles you to all the benefits of the 1891 Society.
