Summer Programs
New York Law School offers three summer programs to both NYLS and visiting students from other ABA-accredited law schools, who wish to accelerate their study of law over the summer.

Visiting students should download and complete the Visiting Student Application and submit to the Office of Admissions.
Summer in the City
Summer Session Dates: May 29–July 22, 2024
Final Examination Dates: July 24 and 25, 2024
2024 Tuition: $2,301 per credit
Our Summer in the City program offers a wide range of day and evening courses, such as these:
Summer Abroad: Law and Global Society Program in Rome
Summer Abroad Session Dates: May 19–June 20, 2024
Final Examination Dates: TBD
2024 Program Tuition and Housing: $11,000 which includes tuition and group housing in Rome with other summer abroad students near AUR.

Scholarship Availability: A limited number of Rome Summer Partner Program Scholarships are available for NYLS students in amounts up to $5,000 to be applied directly to your Program and Housing Costs. If you would like to be considered for a scholarship, please submit a one page statement, with your expression of interest to Professor Andrews, on how your participation in this program could advance your academic, professional, and personal goals. Please note scholarships for study at NYLS during the regular school year may not be applied to a partner program.
Program Description: NYLS and The American University of Rome (AUR) are partnering to offer a specialized summer law program that will be held on AUR’s campus in Rome, Italy. This summer program is a package, so enrolled students will attend two courses, taught by professors from both institutions, for a total of 6 credits graded Credit/No Credit. The courses offered are:
Summer Intensive in Tax and Estate Planning
Summer Session Dates: May 29–July 22, 2024
Final Examination Dates: July 24 and 25, 2024
2024 Tuition: $2,301 per credit
Our Summer Intensive in Tax and Estate Planning allows students to take two or three specialized courses that advance their legal knowledge and skills in these fields. Credits earned in Tax and Estate Planning classes may be eligible for advanced standing in our LL.M. in Taxation program following graduation from law school.
