Supporters of NYLS

It is with great appreciation that New York Law School recognizes our loyal and dedicated supporters from our most recent fiscal year, which ended on June 30, 2026, in our 2026 Honor Roll of Donors.

The generosity of New York Law School's alumni, friends, faculty, staff, and organizational partners continues to have a transformative impact on the Law School and its students. In Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26), these supporters contributed $4.25 million, reinforcing the momentum of recent years and providing critical resources for students, programs, and institutional priorities. A record 1,627 gifts were made to New York Law School in FY26, underscoring unprecedented levels of engagement from alumni, friends, faculty, staff, and other supporters. This impact extends beyond philanthropy: 186 alumni and friends volunteered as judges for the annual Froessel and Wagner Moot Court Competitions, while 202 alumni gave their time and expertise through admissions events, networking programs for students and recent graduates, Center and Institute activities, and other initiatives across the Law School.

It is through the support of individuals—alumni and friends—organizations, family foundations, law firms, corporations, and more that NYLS can prepare our graduates to be Practice Ready in a Changing Profession. We are deeply grateful for your commitment to our mission and students. Thank you for all you do for NYLS.

The NYLS community made 1,627 gifts in FY26, the highest number of gifts in the past nine fiscal years, reflecting broad-based engagement and growing philanthropic participation across the Law School's alumni and supporter network.

NYLS raised more than $4.2 million in FY26, exceeding the total for all but one of the last nine years.

More than 18% of FY26 donors were first-time supporters, demonstrating continued success in widening the School's philanthropic community.

Donor loyalty remained strong, with more than half of FY26 donors (600) renewing their support from the previous year, while an additional 334 donors were successfully recaptured after lapsing, demonstrating the enduring commitment of the NYLS community.

The success of our students is enriched by the alumni and friends who share their time and expertise with the NYLS community. Throughout the 2025–26 academic year, these dedicated professionals served as guest lecturers, speakers, panelists, and master class leaders, providing students with meaningful insights and real-world perspectives. We are honored to recognize these loyal supporters whose contributions help prepare the next generation of legal professionals.

We recognize with great appreciation those alumni who participated in the life of the Law School by judging the 49th Annual Charles W. Froessel Intramural Moot Court Competition and the 50th Annual Robert F. Wagner National Labor and Employment Law Moot Court Competition.

As we welcome a new class of students and the aspirations they bring to New York Law School, we pause to reflect on the vital role our supporters play in their success. Every gift, regardless of size, makes a meaningful difference, expanding opportunities for deserving students and strengthening the innovative, practice-focused education that defines the NYLS experience.

Because of your generosity, more students can pursue their legal education, develop the skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving profession, and graduate prepared to make an impact in their communities and careers.

Thank you for your steadfast support and investment in the future of New York Law School.
