Join the Unemployment Action Center at NYLS
The Unemployment Action Center is a student-run project with chapters across NYC law schools. This training will prepare student advocates to represent unemployed workers who have been denied unemployment benefits before an administrative law judge (ALJ) in virtual hearings. 

At this training, students will learn how to interview and advise claimants, conduct direct and cross-examinations of witnesses, and deliver opening and closing statements to an ALJ.
