Every fall, the team driving NYLS’s Academic Success Program (ASP) hosts lunchtime workshops for first-year students, providing them the opportunity to revisit the learning strategies and skills introduced in their Foundations for the Study of Law (FSL) sessions. 1Ls are paired with Teaching Fellows—upper-level student mentors who offer invaluable advice on navigating the demands of the first year of law school.
