Join a panel of attorneys and community leaders for a discussion on lessons learned from the legal advocacy and organizing that emerged from Muslim, Arab, and Southeast Asian communities in the aftermath of 9/11. They will also discuss the subsequent policing, surveillance, and immigration enforcement efforts that followed. 

Distinguished Adjunct Professor Asim Rehman will moderate the panel, featuring Fahd Ahmed, Executive Director of Desis Rising Up and Moving (DRUM); Omar Farah, Executive Director of Muslim Advocates; and Professor Nermeen Arastu, Co-Director of the Immigrant & Non-Citizen Rights Clinic at CUNY School of Law.
