Prior to joining the NYLS faculty, Erik Lane ’15 was a litigation associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP and at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP for over seven years combined. At these firms, he handled a wide range of complex commercial litigation, including chapter 11 restructuring, white-collar criminal defense, internal investigations, securities, and other contract and regulatory matters. He also maintained a robust pro bono practice, largely focused on helping human trafficking survivors vacate their trafficking-related convictions.
