Matrimonial and family law litigants routinely see fundamental aspects of their lives placed in jeopardy; they must navigate both the complexities of our legal system and the psychological undercurrents of matrimonial and family law matters. As part of an hour-long discussion, the panelists will explore the nuances of matrimonial and family law litigation in both the private and public sectors and how practitioners can help clients secure their homes, their relationships with their children, their personal safety, and their financial futures. An hour-long networking reception will follow, where current students will have an opportunity to discuss the practical applications of matrimonial and family law with the panelists and NYLS alumni.
