Join us for a fireside chat with a technology startup general counsel as she discusses what the role looks like day to day and the skills and experience needed to succeed as a Tech GC. Renata Stepanov — General Counsel of Coast, a fintech start-up in New York — will be joined by Professor Jae Hyung Ryu, to discuss advising high-growth tech businesses, the mix of transactional, regulatory, and strategic work involved, and how lawyers develop the judgment required for these roles. The dialogue will also highlight the evolving skill set required of modern Tech GC and the range of career paths that can lead to this position.
