Helping to build a fintech startup requires not only business smarts but also legal know-how. Faraz Rana, a former Big Law M&A attorney, will give an overview of his evolving role as part of the founding team at Bread. He will speak about the fintech company’s origins in late 2014 through its different stages of growth and to the eventual sale of the company in 2020. As Chief Legal Officer, he wore many hats, including helping to build the legal and compliance infrastructure from the ground up, negotiating strategic bank partnerships, and navigating through several capital raises to eventual acquisition.
