Join us for a discussion on the five yes-or-no questions on the 2026 general election ballots for New York City voters. They include changes to the City Charter proposed by the charter commission, known as the Committee on Government Efficiency (COGE), that was empaneled by Mayor Mamdani earlier this year. The proposed reforms aim to streamline development of public space infrastructure, building permits, outdoor dining approvals, and city contracting, while also regulating management of the city budget’s Rainy Day Fund.
