Tom Stipanowich, holder of the William Webster Chair in Dispute Resolution as a Professor of Law at Pepperdine, will discuss his current book project, The Lincoln Way: New Insights for Our Time. Among the topics he’ll explore are Lawyer Lincoln’s preference to avoid litigation and instead negotiate or arbitrate, and his use of arbitration as a format for collaborative negotiation.
