Join NYLS student organization Womxn of Color Collective and the Wilf Impact Center for the second panel in the Legal Activism: Past, Present, and Future series.
This conversation will address the unique vulnerabilities faced by incarcerated individuals with disabilities and examine how inadequate accommodations, discriminatory practices, and systemic neglect violate fundamental rights. As incarceration rates remain high and conditions in detention facilities face increasing scrutiny, understanding and protecting the rights of individuals with disabilities behind bars has never been more urgent.
