Profile

Ramesh Kasarabada is currently an Assistant Professor of Legal Practice at New York Law School.

Previously, Professor Kasarabada was a clinical instructor and Fellow at the Took Crowell Institute for At-Risk Youth in The University of District of Columbia School of Law's Special Education Legal Clinic. There, he supervised and taught law students skills necessary to represent families in special education due process hearings and school discipline hearings in Washington, DC.

Before teaching in the Clinic, Professor Kasarabada was a Supervising Attorney—and before that a Staff Attorney—in the Maryland Legal Aid Bureau's child welfare practice in Baltimore, MD, where he supervised attorneys and represented children and youth in Maryland's foster care system in hearings before Maryland juvenile courts and appellate courts.
