Foundations for the Pursuit of Professionalism
This second-semester course will continue the focus on the learning skills addressed in Foundations for the Study of Law, so that each student can continue to develop skills necessary for learning and understanding new concepts not only throughout the remainder of law school, but throughout a career in law. This course also will continue with instruction, introduced in the first semester, on the principles and attitudes of professionalism which must characterize the work of every lawyer, and will address strategies for identifying and pursuing career and job opportunities.
This required course is part of the Core Curriculum, and will meet regularly during their second semester. This course will be graded on a Pass/Fail basis.
Please note: Credit will be awarded after the spring semester based on successful completion of Foundations for the Study of Law and this course.
