Our exceptional professors and passionate students collaborate on projects that have real-world impact. We embody the qualities that make New York City the indisputable capital of the world: talent, energy, diversity, and independence of spirit.

By choosing to pursue the study of law, you are beginning an exciting and enriching chapter of your life, one that will require your utmost commitment and hard work. If you are ready for the challenge, you will find the NYLS community ready to help you every step of the way along your educational and professional journey as resources, as allies, and as champions.

We are New York’s law school, a learning institution unlike any other, in a city unlike any other.

NYLS takes pride in being at the forefront of innovation in legal education. Throughout our viewbook, we highlight a number of programs and initiatives designed to prepare today’s law students for tomorrow’s legal marketplace and capitalize on our New York City location. This is where it all happens.  And what happens in New York City—in law and business, in media and tech—matters everywhere.

I invite you to visit our campus and explore what makes our School the special place it is. I know that you’ll be impressed with our state-of-the-art classrooms and collaborative learning spaces. Beyond that, speak to our dynamic faculty, spend some time with our committed students, and you’ll sense something extraordinary, and want to become a part of it.

I look forward to welcoming you personally to our School, getting to know you, and guiding you to success during your stay at New York Law School and throughout your careers.

Thank you,
