Environmental Law and Policy

This course is designed for students who wish to understand how, in broad outline, the law protects the environment, and who wish to litigate environmental issues. Topics include how politics drive the design and operation of environmental statutes and the respective roles of legislatures, agencies, courts, and nongovernmental organizations.

This upper level, substantive course focuses on the laws, regulations, and policies related to environmental protection.
