Profile
Erin Felker Bond ’08, Esq., serves as the Associate Dean of Academic Planning and Career Development at New York Law School. In this capacity, she oversees the Office of Academic Planning and Career Development, which supports students in achieving their academic and professional objectives through thoughtful upper-level course selection, comprehensive professional development guidance, and strategic skills-building. As a member of the Law School’s senior leadership team, Dean Bond contributes to a range of strategic initiatives designed to advance the School’s Strategic Plan. Her work centers on ensuring that students graduate with the educational foundation and practical experience necessary to excel in an increasingly competitive professional landscape. She also teaches Foundations for the Pursuit of Professionalism, a required course for all first-year students during the spring semester.
In 2025, Dean Bond was invited to serve on Barbri's Professional Education Advisory Board. As a member of the Board, she works with industry leaders to identify needs and opportunities within the professional development space to help shape Barbri's training offerings for attorneys.
Dean Bond has served on the Board of Directors of Services for the UnderServed (S:US) since 2019. S:US provides essential services—including food, housing, and rehabilitative programming—to tens of thousands of New Yorkers most in need. She currently serves as Board Secretary and Chair of the Governance Committee, helping to guide organizational strategy and oversight.
Prior to her current role at New York Law School, Dean Bond served as Associate Director of the Center for Real Estate Studies, where she developed programming for both emerging and established real estate professionals and advised students pursuing careers in the field. She has held leadership positions within Commercial Real Estate Women of New York (CREW) and its predecessor, the Association of Real Estate Women (AREW)—together, the real estate industry’s longest-running professional network dedicated to supporting women in the field. She continues to serve on CREW’s Presidents’ Council and on the Advisory Board of the Center for Real Estate Studies, contributing to curricular development and program planning.
Dean Bond holds a B.A. in foreign affairs and Spanish from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from New York Law School.
