This writing and research course is designed for students who are interested in improving their memo and brief writing skills.

Memo and Brief Writing

This course teaches the analytical and drafting skills needed to write complex memos and briefs that are used in legal practice. Assignments may include drafting memoranda of law, trial briefs, and appellate briefs. This course hones student memo and brief writing skills.

This upper-level writing and research course is intended for students interested in improving their memo and brief writing skills.

This course satisfies the Writing Requirement. It does not satisfy the Experiential Learning Requirement.
